My Media System Details

I finally began describing how i set up my home linux based media system. It's still a bit rough and lacking of many important information, but at least you can already get an idea on the choices i made for the project.
The storage capacity isn't still what i'm aiming for but until i get some money for the final storage, i'll have to live by with 1 x 320GB Sata2 plus an old 1 x 400GB IDE drive. There are also some pictures i made from the graphics card cooler and the IR receiver hack i had to do to make things look pretty. Direct link here or browse through the Site Map menu.
More to come… stay tuned.

New repository layout

I've now included my small Debian repository with those packages that i frequently use but i can't seem to find anywhere.

As a side effect, i also move the old SVN section into this new repository section.

Hope i don't leave any dangling links. :)

New site layout

Like i said in a previous post, things are a bit changed. My promess of not leaving broken links as been so hard to keep that i finally had to brake it for the sake of having things organized. For that i apologize. Fortunatelly the search engine (right top of page) is excelent and i'm forced to invite you to use it if by any chance you're not able to find what you're looking for in what i consider a rather well organized Site Map.

Thanks for your time and understanding.

Subversion repository

I've set up my own Subversion repos so i can keep better track of my stuff. Although in my howto pages you find the stable versions of my patches, in some cases i'm doing some modifications and those new versions are already on the SVN. In time, when i'm through testing the new versions, i'll update the howtos to reflect the new versions.

Update! I've managed to embed the subverion browser i had installed into this wiki. You can now browse the repositories without having to leave the site. Just use the menu on the left to get there.
Access is also available with direct access to the repos through the regular
svn co https://svn.hmonteiro.net/svn/repositoryname

Ta ta!

Site rearrangement

Although i've been serving and helping others to publish their stuff for the last ten years or so, this is actually my very first attempt, as i'm sure you already noticed, to maintain my own web site. It's possible that you not always find the things you're looking for on the exact same place they were before since i'm still discovering the possible layout to the site. I'm aiming to have things minimally organized (my wife would laugh if she read this), and yet accessible. In this mutational process i'll try really hard not to leave any dangling links, so if you find any, please let me know.
